Western Shelter Supplier Information

Western Shelter suppliers are a critical component in the company’s ability to deliver high quality products to our customers and end-users. As a solutions provider to the fire services sector, EMS departments, department of defense, and government customers, Western Shelter and its suppliers need to be aware of, and conform to, certain defined standards and procedures. You will find this type of information on subsequent pages here. Regardless of whether we are selling Western Shelter products to a governmental customer or a commercial customer, delivering quality goods is of the highest importance. Information on quality, supplier diversity, and how to communicate with Western Shelter (personnel with a job focus on supply chain management) is included in this section.

WORKING WITH SMALL BUSINESSES

Western Shelter is committed to establishing mutually beneficial business relationships with small businesses. We partner with small disadvantaged businesses (SDB), women-owned small businesses (WOSB), veteran-owned small businesses (VOSB), service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB), SBA-certified HUBZone small businesses (HUBZ), Native American-owned small businesses, minority owned companies and Ability One organizations.

As a primary government contractor, Western Shelter is committed to include small and disadvantaged businesses into our DoD programs in compliance with the DoD Small Business Diversity Program. Western Shelter’s Small Business Diversity Program seeks out qualified companies to participate as subcontractors on these contracts. Our ongoing commitment to the program is affirmed by our continued efforts to seek out and qualify minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned and other qualifying small businesses to partner with each year.

At Western Shelter, we are committed to helping small business owners succeed in their industries. We look forward to growing and diversifying our current business partnerships, while continuing to develop new relationships for the future.
